Does anyone have a powerbloc clutch on their FL350 ??
The unit I'm building has the black spring.
I want to know how much one puck/w-weights weighs on a calibrated unit.

Thx for any replies.

If the weights are the same as ones which come on the PB FL400 clutch, each weight is 3.60g as just measured on my micro-scale which I use for tuning clutches.

Wow thanks for quick reply.
What I want to know is the total weight of the puck with weights.

Well researching this site in "Powerbloc central" -- I come up with anywhere from 4 weights to 12 weights. Hoser was running 4 weights on the Pilot apparently, way back in the day. So I figure if I split the difference and run 6 weights that should be close enough.
So if each weight is 3.6 grams then that's 21.6 grams.
Thanks for the info.

Took the Powerbloc pucks apart and weighed everything. Pic below.
Please note: I have NO idea if this clutch was ever calibrated for the oddy it was on. It came with an oddy I bought years ago and the offset was wrong so it ate belts. I just threw it in the corner until now.
Based on my research here on this site, I think I have to run more weights. The 7 weights are not enough apparently. Maybe I will just weigh some washers in my bins and add them, but for now that is the least of my worries. Still have to do a bunch of machining.
Also note that this clutch does not have a "D" on the shaft or cover. It's just a round. Not sure if this is good or not but that's what I got here. This thing must be real old.
