My fl250 has some scoring and stuff from over heating


Does anyone on here do bores. And how much would it cost ? Thanks

I thought you said you got it running ??

Just because it has some scoring doesn't mean it's shot.
What was the compression ??
Over heating could be caused bad gas. If you can get your hands on avgas then run that.

As for doing bore jobs you are most likely going to have to take it to a machine shop.
Cost unknown as I haven't had to get one done in years.
The real question is does it need it ??

On top of what CO said, my local machine shop is usually about $75 plus tax for most single cylinder bore jobs. that's with me supplying a piston.
