Hi folks,


My 1998 Rotax 583 has begun to strip the brass rotary gear, there was a lot of shavings in the oil when I changed it the other day. The Engine still runs very strong but I'm confident there's a reason for the shavings. I am looking for somewhere to send this Engine to for a good, clean rebuild. Preferrably west coast, if anyone has any suggestions.

you'r e probably not going to find anyone doing sled motors but other than the PTO they are the same as the Seadoo so you might want to look there.
if you have done 2 stroke engines I suggest tackling this yourself, you can get the manual on line free and they are not rocket surgery or anything.
