Looking at my Fl250 and it would be pretty easy for me to weld brackets to the tube frame which would allow me to install a fuel tank from a predator go kart Engine above the Engine. Fuel tank would be smaller but I would not have to worry about priming and fuel pump failures grenading the Engine. I would have to plug the crankcase port. Fuel capacity would be a bit smaller. It'd be pretty easy to have a fuel flow valve and filter in the line to the carburetor. I have a full fabrication shop, TIG, MIG, Lathe, Mill, etc.

What are your thoughts? I am just using my FL 250 exclusively as a backyard go kart when I am vibing Segio Perez, no plans to bring it anywhere.

Nevermind, found the other topics on this forum related to gravity fed, found the concern that gravity will not provide sufficient fuel. I will rebuild my pump.

Don't bother rebuilding your pump.
It's not worth the hassle and sometimes it can be tricky.
Just go to the polaris dealer and get a 3085275 pump. That's what I and many others use.

How do you mount that to the chassis / tank?

You have to make something.
A pump can be mounted anywhere, just run longer lines.
