Does anyone know if you put a rand water cooled head on a FL350, Will you have to change the studs on the top of the motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? ))?

When putting the head on the motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )), What is the best head gasket for compression?

Where would you buy it?

Does anyone know were I could find a 12volt water pump for this head?

Thank You
Bullseye

Is this a new head or used?

I don't know about the Rand head, but every 350 I have installed an aftermarket head on so far has needed longer studs. If you need longer ones be sure and get graded studs. The local hadware stores never had 10.9 grade studs so I always had to order them. Once you figure out the length you need places like McMaster Carr have it online for ordering. The best gasket for compression is the stock gasket split into 3 pieces. Be sure and clearance check the head and piston during installation. I don't know about a water pump but I'm someone else here is up to speed on what is available for them lately.

Give Hillside Honda a call 707-263-9000 they are still selling new Rand heads you can also call and ask Ed at Triple E 1-800-763-3762

Regardless where the head came from you need to verify the squish clearance as Bill stated, all kinds of info here have any questions just ask.

I recently had Ed do a motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) for me, and he installed a Rand head on it for me, so I know he can get the studs for you if needed-or give you a line to call for them, Sara as well is usually very nice to deal with as well.
