When i took off the exhaust etc i found there was no gasket behind the flange (corrected that) i did note the expanding sealing ring on the flange, but found nothing else. A guy i get some parts through- gaskets & such- told me he thought there was supposed to be a fiber ring that fits over the end of the exhaust flange/fitting & into the exhaust pipe. I cant find it in any of the pics/book/diagrams. can someone verify for me?
