In his hone pics his hones look close to the same hones I use only problem is they all 3 look like he used them DRY, you can see the dust on them from honing, I have never heard of using a
Engine hone dry on a cylinder hmmm I will have to ask around what the deal is, all I have read about finish hone says that if you don't use a quality oil and not enough oil it tears the metal it don't cut it, end results is metal in your Engine, the rings and piston scrape it off then it floats around in your Engine, shortens bore and Engine life including the rings.
