Here is some tech tips by MGR, you need to number the weight blocks and put them
back into the same place and facing the same direction each time you make adjustments,
the blocks generate a wear pattern so if you switch them around they will have to wear
to match again this can make clutch tuning fun and give you false readings by keeping them
matches then you get a true indication of the changes you just made also cleaning up where
they slide from time to time will keep them sliding easy and smooth, over time sand and
dirt gets between the blocks and the surfaces they slide on and scratch things up, in the
attached pictures you can see where MGR has polished mine up.
I havent tested this yet but MGR has, I cant see where a guy can go wrong by following his
advice, the whole thing is something I never have given much thought about, GREAT catch
