When you guys align the front end on your 350's has anybody ever gone with both tie rods coming up in the spindles-the manual has 1 going downward with the tie rod end and 1 coming upwards into the spindle-I have tried this method and it seems to work far better(the tie rods coming up on both sides)but was curious if others have done this mod by chance?
Also, do you guys leave the front tires toed in the front if so by how much?
Toed in meaning the front of the tire measuring center to center is say 45 inches, go to the rear of the front tire and measure and it is say 46 inches center to center.
I have tried this bottom facing upward tie rod ends with my 1 350 and riding around the yard the difference to me is substantial-but I did not toe in the front tires, they are equal distance from the front of the tire and the rear of the tire.Any thoughts fellas?

For sand applications I found that toeing in 1/2 inch seemed to help in tight turns, meaning the front of the tire measuring center to center is say 45 inches, go to the rear of the front tire and measure and it is say 45 1/2 inches center to center. I wonder if 1" would make for better tight turns, I will have to test that theory next time Im at the sand. Did you like the tie rod end in the up postition? What benefits did you experience? I always go on the bottom since I have the oversized(diameter) tie rods, I didnt want them to hit the frame when the front suspension compresses, I thought that's why the manual says to mount them on the bottom of the spindle.
