Mozzy showed us this ad in the FOR SALE SECTION for an Fl350 in Austrailia. I thought I would bring it over to TECH so guys could see the CV mod for the FL350. Not much to see but a good idea.

I would like to see how they did the conversion, looks like some limit arms were added too.

I think they would have to sice the cv, slide in and out or it would try to do splits. This is why I would look at a H arm set up with conversion much stronger. It would also alow for greater tavle #'s and widen the machine up to co-inside with a wider front end. The H arm would also add protection. It is nice to see some one was not satisified with the U-joints.

Has anybody ever investigated a company like ROCKFORD DRIVELINE could make a cv shaft using the existing output shafts of a 350 trans?

I found that same 350 on a local forum with better pics.

Apparently, the guy that did the conversion is on that forum.

I also heard a few people from this forum have already been told how the conversion is done. So, someone's hiding. :-)

I see the benefit of running cv's for reliability, but it would be nice to get more travel as well. But it seems since the cv cups are pushed farther out from the tranny its going to give the same travel as before. that's a bummer. I wounder if both could be accomplished.
