Hey, i am looking to rebuild the clutches on my ody. I don't have a ton of money to spend on the comet or else that is what i would do, but is there anyone out there that has the pieces to rebuild the stock clutches? What do you recomend for this?

the next question is about the turning radius. My ody dosent turn worth crap. I have to always turn, back up and then go at it again. My moms boyfriend has a volkswagen sandrail and he can turn a much tighter turn than me, and his wheelbase is about 2x as long! Are the odys just bad on turns, so is mine not adjusted right? thanks

FL350's don't turn very well, I would check your alignment, put the steering wheel straight and look at at the tires from in front of the odyssey, they should be toed out slightly, Not straight or toed in towards each other..
The shop manual has front wheel TOE-OUT @ 0.9 inches.

The steering adjustments on an FL350 are extremely important to get the best turning radius possible. Even with it adjusted correctly they still have the turning radius of a Mac truck! With both rear tires turning at the same speed constantly, they always fight each other in a turn. As you learn to drive your Ody you will learn to lock the rear brakes up and slide your Ody sideways and then gas it to spin a tight turn. The guys I ride quads with are amazed at how quick I can spin my Ody around.

As far as the factory clutches clutch go, check to see if any of the parts are still available from Honda. I will also have to rebuild the wife's primary (drive) clutch on her FL350 and I am curious what you find out about availability of parts.

Lock rear brake with parking brake or the brake handle?

You are wanting to simply break traction with the rear brake lever on the steering wheel not the e-brake handle. Once the Ody's back end is loose you can spin it with little effort by turning the wheel sharply. I like to practice spinning the Ody around on a trail that is just a little wider than the Ody itself.

A little word of warning..... this doesn't work well in sand or on soft soil. I've actually pitched mine over on it's side before doing it on soft soil!
