I'm posting this under "tech stuff" on the off chance that there is someone out there that is equally as stupid as me.

Don't run a grinder/cut-off saw without watching for fire. I noticed it was getting sorta warm, and even commented to my son who was helping me.

LOL Welcome to the" Ya, I set myself on fire" club. I cant tell you how many uniforms I have ruined from grinding sparks and weld splatter. The i cant tell you how many times I have said "is it getting warmer today?" as my flannel jacket is up in flames (that stuff lights up quick).

LMAO..... Only because I too have had it happen. Was welding while wearing a raggedy old denim jacket, I saw smoke from over my shoulder and turned around about two times before I realized that it was the back of my elbow that was on fire! It Didn't take me long to get that jacket off. he he
I have a feeling that the dumb club is larger than you think! :-)

just don't do like i did! i was welding a roll cage in a race car and had the feed a little fast. trust me when i say when welding slag falls in your crotch theres no where to run and no amount of water to help! and the comments your buddies make don't help either!
