My pilot is not getting spark. It sounds like normal but there is no spark. Tried a new spark plug. Ive ohm tested the coil and everything was good there I ohm tested the CDI (Capacitor Discharge Ignition) harness and there was one bad reading going from green to gray there was alot of resistance when there shouldn't be any. The gray goes to the reverse switch. So im guessing its shorted out? I personally cant see why that would be the problem bit you never know. Any help would be great id like to get it running again while there is still snow around!

Ok so after some further readings I came to the conclusion that my neutral switch is bad. I got this because I was getting ohm readings in neutral and in reverse when you should only get resistance in neutral. But should just that cause no spark at the spark plug? Im lost any help or suggestions would be nice.

I modified mine so it would start in gear years ago but cant remember the procedure, read that above link probably has a clue.

The way I did mine the neural light stays on :-)
