I saw this fl350 on craigslist on holloween night at about 11:00 west coast time. I emailed the buyer. He got back to me yesterday at 3:30. I was hoping it wasn't a missprint or the buggy wasn't a fl250. He confirmed it was a 350 and that the price was 130 bucks. I told him I'll take it. I ran outside unloaded the toyhauler of the pilot and quads and drove out to L.A. 2 hours later in the rain I was home unloading this fl350 for 130 bucks.......

The frame is severly racked. It will be the first thing replaced. Once I find a replacement. I'll sent the lowerend out for a complete overhaul. And Ill get started on doing the a-arm front suspension. Then I'll prep and fab the parts to make the cylinder watercooled. My son will be running this one. It will take a while for the restoration/mods on this one since I'm also doing a LT conversion on the pilot right now.

dude-for a mere 130 bucks that's a steal--parts alone if for some reason you do not restore it are well worth the initail investment-both the rear axles are like 200 on ebay alone---
I have frames here in NJ I think I have like 10-mabye 9 shipping would kill you for sure to CA.If you like we can investigate alittle into it----Randy at Odysseysalvage may be alot closer to you-have to emailed the seller "in glamis" on Ebay he has alot of 350 stuff and is in CALI-try him out perhaps?
Also "tntdealtz" seller on ebay is in Washington State I think-thats alot closer to you than me for sure he has a ton of 350 parts but be wary with him, he sells subpar items alot of the time.Imo

Rough, but still a steal at that price! Congrats. Keep us posted on the restore.

Called the tntdealz guy, he has lower frames for around 300. If it sounds okay and if all else fails i'll go over and get a straight one that's decent.

for 130 I think you got the deal of the year. I saw that on Craigslist too, but it was already deleted by the time I clicked on it. I could only read 350 and 130 in the description, I thought it must be a mistake or just a bare frame. Glad to see that someone here got it. Even if you do not restore it, the parts alone will be well worth it if you have another 350.

I emailed nick (socalgili) he has a few I think. I've purchased some pilot parts from him b4. Hes also just 40 min. away from me. So that's my first try then I'll look into other options. I'm definetly going to have this thing running again. My 8 year old cant wait........ Cant keep him out of my pilot when we go riding.

Nice score. it is worth alot more than that in parts.
I need to find a good deal like that, I'm trying to buld my son an odyssey and get extra parts for my FL350, I have the frame and tranny for my son's, just have to get every thing else. I found a guy that has all the suspension and will pick it up this week if it is in good shape.
Good luck on finding a frame, I'M sure 1 will show up.

Bob

ITS STOCK.................. 78.5mm oh yeah now do I go up to the 80mm wiesco or look for hondas next size hmmmmmmmmmmmm?

UPDATE: Had some time today to yank the Engine finally and start taking it apart. Got it tore down. Found water in the lowerend filled right to the cylinder. Found oil and sludge on the magnito side (not good) the berings don't sound too good. The lower rod bering is loose side to side. So the lower end will need rebuilt and the rod and bering also I believe. I'm still looking for a lower frame so I can get the rolling chassis done and just wait on the Engine.

I purchased a complete frame this weekend from Raptoroy. I'll be picking it up in Dumont this week. My brother was able to pick it up for me. So next week will be some fun time sanding and modding to get this thing to a roller. Now that I have it completely tore apart I'll be cleaning for a while..... Well at least my NEED list is shortening

if the bore is 78.5 try looking on Ebay for a ART PISTON do not bore it till you exhausted all options, that jug has too many bores on it left to do that going to a 80mm Wiseco is crazy-there are sellers of old stock OEM pistons there for sure-in fact I just saw 1 the other week there with a OEM KIT WITH RINGS!!!
