Heres some pics of the air box mods Ive done. Since I don't ride at all in the mud and all I have to deal with is dust. I tried to replicate the kleem research air box lid. I also went this route to try and keep the Engine bay less cluttered and look stock but trick.

Update: No pics since my laptop is shot and I have to come over here to kinkos for the computer. I got new stainless brake lines installed, master cylinder and yoke. Cylinder is at a local fab shop being welded up it should be done on monday. All that's left is porting boring new seat or cover, fenders, and ride....... Not bad the spendometer is still under 2000.

Nice, post some pics of that jug before you through it on. I am really curious to see how it turned out.

Also, random question, how far out do your 450R arms measure out from the frame to the spindles? My 400ex arms looks small compared to your pics, but from the specs I have read the travel on each is pretty close.

Sunblock I'll check those measurments for ya today.

Well the ody was awsome. Mt son launched the thing 6 feet in the air and kicked my pilots ass. I guess I should have went a little milder with his porting. Oh well we will be getting some pics of jumps a stuff this weekend since we are going back to pismo. The last trip we all forgot the cameras and video cameras and nicks gopro sucked ass so we will post up pics next week.

2 trips on the odyssey so far. The issues so far are. Clogged silencer( same as turbotexas) broken rear shock (lower keeper came un screwed) my falt because i didnt check the jam nut. rear hubs came loose so i wont use aluminum cotter pins again. U-joints are worn and need replacing. Other then that it is a screamer. M son loves it. The watercooled head and cylinder allows us yo run all day without problem. The front suspension soaks up every jump we throw at it. I will be extending the axles by 2 inches and widening the machine to get 10 inches of travel out of the rear and adding some workd shocks. So the project continues

man that looks really good. You need to machine another set of parts for the A-arm conversion and sell them to me. I got arms and shocks for mine, but that's it.

hey, those pictures look familiar! you forgot to tell the part about how the shock broke in the dunes and i went on a hour long trip to go back to camp and get parts then return, but couldnt find camp!!! turns out i was about 2 minutes away (if that) and if i would have just kept heading a bit more north i would have seen it.

sucks to be me

Nice ride! Bet kid loves it. He fits rather nicely behind the wheel. SOrry to hear about shock. I busted a Works shock on the front of my J-arm. J-arm was tweeked and the Works didnt have as much play at the bottom mount as the stocker. I had Works install a Heim joint on the lower mount, "Works" great now! Keep us posted on the axle widening project.

Wow its only been just over a year since this thing has been done. the ody has seen lots of action and has had a few tweeks. I added g-series rear works shocks fenders all the way around (huge thanks to turbotexas) hella lights up front. white spring in driven. so far this thing has beat every other ody or pilot it has been up against. nickrnr can confirm this he has seen the tailight alot lol. gonna put in a new seat and upgrade to a powerblock clutch soon.
