Heres some pics of my Long travel kit I finished up this last weekend. I used fox 2.0 12" stroke air shocks atv racing upper a-arms 4x4 tuff axles (when they arrive) Everything else I fabricated in house. Also i bent the roll cage back and reinforced it with crome molly instead of a new cage.

I went ahead and did a fully welded up rear hoop section instead of the removable rear tubes like atv-r. Also i upped the tubing to 1 1/4 instead of 1". I've rolled this thing 2 times so far racing and I know it will happen again so I need it really strong. Or maybe I need to drive better

Nice work...

in this picture you welded a piece behind the brace to keep it from bending? I have thought of placeing a tube brace back to the rear uprights to do the same thing in case of a hard wreck...

The fab work on the hoops and upper mounts was done at shoubadaba's cousin's sandrail shop (URNVS Motorsports) in Victorville, Ca. The baja bug in the background is being built as a chase car for their desert race car. It sports a full chromolly cage, fox air shocks, IRS tranny, suspension seats, and tons of other goodies. They guy's name is Sean Avance, he does really good work at reasonable prices. If anyone is in the area and needs a good fab-guy, here is his number...

Price break down
rear upper arms 300.00 ATV-racing
Fox shocks 440.00 Offroad warehouse
hymes and hardware 225.00 G&J aircraft
tubing 45.00 Pattons steel yard
Axles 385 4x4 tuff
So a little under 1400. I didnt really know how much it was all going to be but I didnt want to spend the 3500 that atv wanted so I bought parts slowly over the past few months.

The baja is the new chase vehicle my cousin is building for his race car. Its gonna be a bad ass street legal bug when its all done. The pilot project gave me a chance to drive up and see him and take advantage of his full shop. I'm glad were like brothers so I can use his tools at will. This is where I'll be building my briggs replica in the near future :-)

The new rear suspension is what this thing needed. And like everything im not done yet. next is to upgrade the LT front from the 3in over arms to the 4 1/2 over arms with the fox air shocks. I want 14 inches up front now.
