Hello to all, I am so excited I have been waiting to get these for a while.

RED PILOT WRIST RESTRAINTS, from Honda sealed in the original package.
I was lucky enough to come across these a while back, I thought at first they were for an odyssey but the Honda dealer I bought them from said they had them for a very long time that the owner of the dealership fully restored two pilots and these did not get used.

He told me that they had come direct from Japan on a special back order, he said that some pilots that were sold in different countries had red wrist restraints. He was kind enough to hold them for me until I could buy them.
I just got them today and sure enough they are pilot restraints.

I think they will look awesome on my sons Odyssey.

YEE HA!!!!!!!

Hello, I bought the tie rod set from Randy Bridgewater at Odyssey Salvage 1-913-856-6639 he runs his shop alone and stays very busy so be patient and keep calling until you get through. Randy is top notch, very helpful.

Thank you mozzy, I do not have good luck at all but I feel very lucky to have gotten these.

Hello, the gold brackets that I made were the first ones I painted. I did not grind out all the marks from where I had bent and welded the brackets, I thought the paint would cover them. Well it did not and it has been bothering me so I sanded all the paint back off and redid them.

Hey buddy, you bet. I love the pipe! COULD NOT HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT YOUR HELP!!!!!!!

Once I get the silencer in place I can start final assembly on the rear. I need to find somebody that can weld aluminum for the silencer bracket and I need to modify the tail pipe on the silencer so that it will not burn my frame or anything else. I think and hope this is the biggest obstacle I have left other than alignment, which I am not looking forward to.

Headed to the shop today to finish painting brackets, I hope to get them all done today.

GETTING CLOSE.

Take care and I will talk to you soon.

Here are some more pics. There are two different color reflector's because I was deciding which to use. We are going with the red, I want to try and find a rectangular reflector though 1 inch by 2 inch. I think it will look better.
Maybe a roof reflector off of a pilot?

I grew up without a dad, or rather I had a step dad and we did not get along.
I grew up with my grandmother and glad I did (she is the best), I started mowing lawns when I was about eight and had a bunch of customer's by the time I was ten. I bought my first dirt bike my self and paid cash for it, an Indian 100 dirt bike. Sure wish I had it now.

Anyway, I guess I do spoil my son but I bought my business when he was less than a year old. I have work work worked for most of his life. I did it to survive, pay the bills, roof over our heads and food in our bellies.

I missed out on a lot with him and my whole family. IT WILL NOT HAPPEN ANYMORE EVER AGAIN BILLS OR NOT!!!!!!!

One other thing, my son has not shown any interest in the Odyssey restore but when I get him out in the hills you can see the gleam in his eyes.

Take care guys.

that's a good plan. I spent the first 7 years of my sons life trying to keep up with the Joneses. Life changes took place and from then on it was me and him. I have a job where I can take him with me during his summer vacations. Although when he turned 13 or 14 he decided he wanted to spend more summer time with his buddies. But at least I can say we did a lot in that time. We still have fun tigether but his school activities take a lot of his time. I hope when your son sits in the Ody and straps himself in, he will be ready to ride!!

Hello, here are a few pics. I put the headlights, tail light, roof panel and works front shocks on.
I got the works front shocks from stix9567, thank you Marc.

I found 2 new oem heims joints and 1 new oem boot for the trail arms, took the old ones off and installed these new ones.

I adjusted the front toe, toed out 1/2 inch. I also setup the works shocks on the rear, I still need to check the toe on the rear and to check the camber adjustment. I need to find a camber gage, Napa has one that has a magnet on it but I do not like it to well and they want $85.00 for it.

Take care.
