The pics. with the reproduction decals are the last five, the OEM decals are on top.

The very last picture shows two different styles of Honda emblem decal reproductions, one with a red background and one with a white background. The red background is OEM correct.

File comment: Even on these decals the OEM has much better color.

Can you make a high quality scan of each sticker and post for the archives before you install them? 20 years from now someone will be restoring a Odyssey and will thank you :-)

Hello Hoser, you bet my wife says her scanner should do a good job, she will try it and if it works out OK I will post them here a little later.

Take care.

Hello, here are some pics in the daylight. I should have taken them a little earlier I think.
I will take some later tonight with the flash, I think they will turn out better.

I still need to re torque everything, put the gages on, decals on, touch up on the paint and dial in the jetting.
I am in no rush right now, I just want to get my pilot going and go see how fast I can go. Yee Hah. Yes safely, I just like to push it to the limit speed speed and more speed scotty.

Powder coating on the pipe did not hold up at all, I plan to repaint it when I do the egt sensor install.

Take care.

This has been such a great thread to watch.
Where were you able to find all the oem decals?

Hello Casey and thank you, very kind.

I bought the decals from a private individual, I have spent countless hours and hours tracking down any and every lead for odyssey and pilot parts.

I am a perfectionist, it is just my luck that right after I get in to these machines (3 yrs. ago ) Honda starts discontinuing parts left and right dang it.

I still need a few decals for it to be complete, when I find them I will post pics.

Take care.

Same here...too late to the game. I feel like an idiot reading off part numbers to all the Honda shops that might have something I need. As soon as they think im done i have to tell them i only have six more...It's the only way though for some things.

Can you replace the aftermarket fuel pump on that thing with an oem piece? It's bugging me...

Kidding of course.

Be sure to update with some ride pics soon.
Just don't roll it!

I know how you feel, when I find a Honda dealer I just ask if they might have anything Odyssey or Pilot.

Oh come on now I think my fuel pump looks pertty, yes I said pertty.

Other than getting the jetting dialed in and my wife taking a ride she will just sit and look pretty waiting for my son.

Take care Casey and good luck in your quest for parts.

That is a magnificent restoration.

Couldn't have done it any better myself............more to the point, I'm too lazy & poor! lol

Either way, congrats on the build & it looks really good.

One problem with it now..............it's dirty. lol

Hello Mozzy, thank you very kind.

It is not dirty just a little dusty, I spent two days cleaning it everywhere after break in. At some point this winter I have to go back over the entire machine, check torque on everything, jet it in, touch up paint and put decals on.

Hoser, I have not forgotten about the OEM decals. I will post scans of them before they are put on, sorry I have not done it yet.

I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving and take care.

Thank you Sir, most kind. It is not totally complete yet, I still need to put the decals on and go back over the whole machine.
It just sits and looks pretty so I am not rushing to complete it as I have to get my pilots going, probably ( hopefully ) this next winter I will totally complete it.

Hoser, I am sorry for not posting scans of the decals yet. It will be done before they go on the machine!!!!!!!

Take care.

Thank you Sir, most kind. I drive myself crazy, I am working on a ratty pilot right now the thing had been just about beat to death. I started out just going to throw it together and make it safe but now it has turned in to sanding and painting everything. Dang it, I have given up trying to fight myself. Sometimes being a perfectionist really stinks.

Hope you enjoy your trip, very cool.

Take care.
