You serious about selling your bent piece of steel for $29.95?

How about billet aluminum for $59.95?

The selling comment was a joke but you know as well as I do some mutt is working a
angle to sell my ideas as I type this, crunching the numbers and trying to figure
out how to CNC one and sell to the group, maybe even run a buffer over it,
things with a shine on them seem to attract sales.

I put a higher value on the one over the other because getting the exact distance
you need to make it one handed and easy to use took time and a bunch of bends
to get it perfected, it is not just a bent up piece of junk like it looks in the pictures
same goes with the other tool you see their, you will see what I mean when you
make your own and use them a few times :-)

FYI the POS "billet" clutch holding tool ATVR sells is just that, the first time I seen
it in action was when a fellow POOA member called me over to "hold this for me" I thought
"you got to be kidding that is a 3 handed tool" so I the "hoser clutch tool" and put
it on his clutch so I didnt have to play helper holding the POS "billet" one, I am
always amazed and amused when I see "billet" Rube Goldberg items like that hah
....

I could see you selling them at your cost for the benefit of the community.

Polished titanium for $89.95?

Mirror finish unobtanium could be had for $99.95 or $129.99 with the velvet lined oak presentation box......

I torque to 85 ft pounds, this is higher than the Honda spec but is what HRD told me to
use and what I have been using.

I have been playing with the 4" gray spring over the one that comes with the clutch
I was testing a setup at Little Sahara that allowed my Engine to only rev out to 7100
RPM going down the big sand dunes, the fun factor was reduced but the Engine pulled
hard and I had no problems keeping up with Litespeed who is using the black spring and
reving out to 7800 rpm? I need to test this setup with the 22" hole shots I have, this
setup would be the setup I would use for something like that 24 hr desert race.

After I got back from LS I removed a few more washers I was running 5 in each
block at LS and went to 3, 3 is too few as the Engine quickly revs to over 8000 RPM
even when using a new Honda belt, today I will be going back to 4 washers and
testing, I would like to get the engagement rpm a little higher 4300 is a little lower
than I like but I am not racing so the hole shot is not important.

Hoser, is the puller bolt the same diameter and thread pitch for your HRD clutch as your "new" Alt clutch you have there? I know HRD said he taps his threads all the way through, but I'm not sure if he steps the size up from what the factory uses?

I think so I use the same puller on the new one as my old one, I didnt check to see
if they are threaded all the way through like HRD he does that because his
pullers are one piece mine is 2 piece.

I was just curious. The HRD FL250 clutch I have here takes a 9/16" x 18 TPI bolt for the puller and it is tapped all the way through as well. I found that odd being it is manufactured in Canada I figured it would have been metric.
