Post subject:  Pilot CV inboard boot removal pics

I couldnt find any pics showing how to remove the axle to take off the cv boot so Ill post a few. Basically pretty easy. If you don't want to remove the stub from the trans this is an easy way. Remove the tire then hub nut,next remove the lower arms, trailing arm and lower shock bolt. This will allow the hub/bearing carrier to be lifted away from the axle. I tied it up with a bungie cord to hold it out of the way. Next remove some grease from the cv stub to allow you to see the stop clip for removal, remove the stop clip, see pic. This will allow the cv bearings and cage to be removed. Hope this helps :-)

Tell me you took the picture after you cleaned the inner. I would go a step further and remove the inner cups and add fresh grease to the final.
