Nice! That's a lot simpler than I imagined.

Really like that. Excellent job. Is that the Super ATV unit made for Polaris Rzr? What was your parts list and cost? Really curious to hear how it performs for you.

Yep. Its the universal kit. Fit rite in. I spent about $100 on new u-joints and pipe. I didnt like the ones that came with it. The kit was about $600

I also own a Drakart ('04 with std Geo) and, while I love this awesome machine, the manual steering is something I've not been that impressed with either. I can fully appreciate the effort you are throwing at installing this. i think it might be very well worth your hard work. Crappy looking welds are the strongest. haha

It won't make the steering any easier of course but I am contemplating slightly shortening the steering shaft just before the steering wheel and also lengthening the dash plate slots to move the shaft and it's carrier bearing farther up than it currently goes (limited by the slots in the dash plate). It's either that or figure a way to back the seat up some cause I need a little more belly clearance.. i got that Dunlop desease.

I can't tell from your pics but does yours have the gunmetal/texture powder coat on the frame? Do you have a plan to match that paint somehow?

Yup its gun grey. I was going to try to just match it with some rattle cans. I'm not really sure I may even try a red dash.most of the slots on the dash are getting cut out. I'll post more pics on that later today.

Hey I like it. good job with it.

How stiff does it steer (or does it steer at all) with the key turned off?

These power steering units don't need the motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) running at all correct? So if you have a mechanical issue and have to push or tow the buggy off.. the power steering will still work with key on?
