They need to call this Vegas to Carson City. Doesn't even get close to Reno. I usually ride the Johnson Lane area around marker 977 on the GPS track. One of my other usual haunts is Sand Mountain which is located North of marker 900 of the GPS track. Rand |

I really want to ride it bad the whole distance I just need to find the right time of year when the weather is good then do it, if you zoom in using Google earth their is endless trails to ride on along the way. It looks a little too cold to ride this week

Most of the trails in my area aren't even marked on Google earth. You can literally drive from the outskirts of town all the way to Utah if you like! You just have to cross the major highways when you get to them. Nevada is pretty much wide open BLM land. I see you guys are currently freezing your ass off! As I get older I have no interest on freezing my ass off and riding in the cold. LOL In my youth I couldn't have cared what the temperature was!Rand |
