Back in 2000-2001 I worked an underground fiber job from Reno to SLC and was living in a small town called Delta, about an hour from the Paiute trail system. I rode that thing almost every weekend. It is awesome. Very well maintained and some amazing back country. The system has side trails that go into towns in the area, and they allow ATV access in these towns for food and fuel, just stay on the marked routes. Also, many of the sections are multiple use, so you will come across Jeeps and other 4x4s, as well as people on horseback. Everyone gets along well, but the trails are patrolled by LEO, so keep the speeds in check. Overall, a great riding experience.
