The one thing I did notice while watching that video is that the Polaris seems to be balanced well. It is not a lawn dart like the oddy. Flies level.

Yeah, fly's good and seems to turn good despite being sooooo tall and narrow.

But it is a groomed track. I'd like to see it hit a rut while turning and see what it does.

Still cool even though it sits so fricken high. :-)

Wonder what the steering ratio is? Would like to see a more "Fun" steering wheel or yoke in the cockpit... something like this....

Looks cool, sits high and the first action shot at approx. 59 seconds in, the back left wheel lifts and it looked like he had to counter steer to keep it from going over/ coming up any further.
I'm not saying it's the end of the world, in fact this can make it even more fun, more of a drivers race, picking the line without ruts and giving the correct amount of steering input.

Any forward single seat development is good stuff.
Thanks for posting the video.

Walked around and sat in the new RS1 today. looks really good!! Not a huge fan of the steering wheel and the lack of wrist restraints. Steering wheel turns about 3/4 for maximum turning so restraints wouldn't really be a option I don't think. Its a lot taller than I thought, width isn't bad but the height makes me think its tippy.... Also the wheels are fully exposed, from riding odysseys and pilots I know that if you don't have fenders you get covered in what ever you riding through. Seating position isn't as bad as I thought, it doesn't feel terrible like the ACE but you are still up high. I didn't drive it even though the sales person wanted me to, might go back next week and drive it when I'm not in a suit and tie lol.

No problem Boss!

I saw a pic of one set up for short course. It looked really cool with lower dirt track tires on it.

I'll see if I can find .

What I liked in your vid, was that the RS1 was engaging and running on so low revs up the rocky trail.
NO crazy high reving and bouncing around...just great control.
I wonder if it's been mod'd with softer lower engaging drive spring...or poss it's std setup?
BOSS?...Bazz On Sudsy Syrup?

Personally I don't care for the look of it. Not one part of it.
Let's say
2k for the Trans
2k for the Engine
2 k for front supers ion
2k for rear supersion /axles
2k for the frame.
2k for misc.
On a mass production scale thesee costs go way down.
I have a hard time seeing a SXS costing as much as my house or more then my truck. Granted we are taking a nice one,,,Noone wants the base model.
I just don't get it. I've ridden in rzrs ect and yes they are cool but 30k is nuts. I'd love a can am maverick turbo but it will be in 10 years when there are enough used ones the price comes down.

Just my opinion.

Just picked up at auction a 2017 dodge with 7k miles for the cost of the single seater. It's nothing fancy but looks new and cost someone 29k 8 months ago.
For what it's worth I'm the guy who walks around the grocery store bit ching that soup used to be .65 cents.
One day Ill make the leap to a SXS but u know it will have to be cheap

I'm not a dodge guy. I'm a Chevy fan, owned them my whole life but this was too cheap to pass up. Had nothing I want in a truck,4wd,crewcab,deisel,heated leather seats but was cheap. Trade in is 4k over what I paid. So I can deal for now.
Got my Duramax for hauling stuff so this truck will be my runaround truck to save miles on the diesel.

Don't be fooled. It won't look like that after the first crash.
Pretty sure my brother could prove that to you.
