Ok, Can any of the ATC 110 guys tell me what kind/size carb they have on their 110's?

My son has has the 110 chinese buggy clone. So far, it has ran pretty good. I opened up the airbox, cut some UNI filter material to fit, took all the guts out of the exhaust. It sounds pretty good now, but the carb is so small. It says "OB28" snd "Keihin", but I checked with Sudco and sure enough, the carb is a chinese knockoff.....the jets are so small and hard to come by. I was thinking I would swap out the carb with a real Mikuni or Keihin, just needed to know what size to look for....Just trying to wake this motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) up some, with out spending a lot....

Thanks

I believe the stock 110 carb was a 20mm Keihin.

I have several 110 carbs right now, but have yet to go over them carefully, except a few "extras" that I threw on eBay because they were all misc left over pieces. The 155 stroker motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) we have has a larger carb, but I haven't looked at it close enough to tell you what size it is and we will probably be keeping that one anyway.

If you have a 28 on it, it's probably better off except for the clone issue. You gotta wonder how much "tweaking" the clone engines can take anyways since the parts have much lower tolerances and lower quality materials to begin with, I know, we have a CRF50-110 clone that runs fine, but the workmanship is terrible up close, too many poor fitting stamped sheet metal parts for my liking.

Just my opinion.

I would agree with you, but the carb, while it is stamped OB28, I think it is ALOT smaller than a 28 mm......it is closer in size to the carb on my son's CRF50...and the main jet was this puny little thing (see the 7mm head size, PB jets on the sudco site, under the Keihin's) and had "60" stamped on it......

It is so hard to find these chinese jets, I was just considering changing the whole carb over to something more reliable, and at the same time, easier to find parts for....20mm Keihin....I am going to check flea bay, maybe even a carb off of a XR100?

Also, how do they measure the carbs? where is the 20mm measured at?

Thanks!
