Hoser, you asked about snowmobiles, this is not exactly what you asked about but... This appeared in Dirt Wheels a few years ago. The copy is not supper accurate but it is an interesting vehicle.

It's too bad they didn't make something like that, sort of a Honda Mule with optional tracks! Glad to see/hear from you again. When are coming back to the States?

Honda didn't make anything like that yet.

I'm back in the states. Sitting at my desk in Ohio. Trying to figure out what the white stuff on the ground out side is. Didn't have to drive in the snow in Tokyo, trains worked just fine regardless of the weather.

Not quite settled yet. Bought a house with 5 acres and a pole barn. I am in the process of ripping the horse stalls out of the barn so I can concrete the floor and have a real shop. Hopefully by the time spring rolls around I will be able to recover my trailer and bikes from my Dad in Kalifornia and have a barn to put things in.

Good to hear you are finally home and getting settled in :-)
Sounds like a nice place you bought, plenty of room to grow into. It does take time to fix up an
older place (ours is 168 years old) but well worth the effort :-)
Although i have a workshop, i am looking for the time to remove a few of the stalls in our barn
to store the buggys in ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, tom
