Some pics of my race cars, but no longer have them. Sold the formula car in 2001.
In 1982 I won the championship with the Datsun and therefore qualified to go to mid ohio to race for the North American championship but we had no more money. Sold it a year later. In 1991 bought a Lola T360 in many pieces and built the car you see.

Mazda 13B peripheral port rotary.
Initially we had a 12A peripheral port.
It had a 10000 rpm tach and it took a long time for the needle to come back down to 10000 :-)

After 34 years congrats on the 1982 win :-) , I was piddling with go carts back in 82, a year before I learned to drive. The formula looks mean, the closest I came to that kind of rush was in a mini formula car at the local family fun park back in early 80's when insurance would cover a pimple nosed kid driving a mini formula 65mph, lol, it looked like something in the pic.
