After 40 years of slaving away 8-5 everyday it's just about time to give it all up and enjoy a little time traveling around seeing the country before I am confined to a rocking chair somewhere fading into the sunset...
Since retirement is just around the corner I picked up this little beauty. My wife and I plan to head out on the road starting in about 18 months. Gonna be up north in the summer, back to the south for the winters. I'm sure ready to see what this new adventure has in store for us.

Of course that means Pilot riding is just about a thing of the past, so everything Pilot I've collected over the last 20 years must go.
Keep an eye out in the for sale section, 2 pilots, boxes of new/used parts will soon appear. It all needs to go, hopefully as a package deal to someone looking for a complete set up.

Congratulations on the new mansion, not happy to see you leaving the buggy hobby though... What are the specs on that beauty?

The coach (sales guy informed me several times I had to get the lingo right when talking about it or I'd just sound foolish ) is a Newmar Ventana 36ft, 340hp Cummins diesel, allison tranny. 2 slides plus a full wall slide. Should be big enough to stay in for extended trips but just at the maximum length to get into most of the State and National parks. The coolest part, its got a king size bed, a 42 and 50 in flat screens. Nicer than my house.

I thought about keeping one Pilot, but that just doesnt make much sense because I don't ride much now, I'm sure someone else will make better use of them.

Enjoy your new life style. Lucky you and the Misses. I hope to be there some day. I think a nice razor 900 would look nice on a trailer behind your coach, for when the mood strikes.

They sure do. I thought about going that route but all I end up doing is go in circles so I decided to "stay put" and keep the current set up. The ol motorhome I have now hasnt let me down yet

Very Nice!! Perfect size.. you are gonna really love it. Ive bought so many RVs my wife wont even let me look on north side of the highway when we drive past Lazy Days any more.

A Flat bed trailer (or better yet enclosed) loaded with the Pilot and a couple of plated Honda Groms would make trips North and West pretty fun?

Best to you.
