That looks like a great place to ride, but it looks hot and just screams rattle snakes to me. Hate snakes.
Can you get to those mountains from there ?? Wonder what that area looks like ??
I also see some kind of housing on the right of that picture, along with what appears to be some kind of tower -- water tower ??

Ha! Yep
Took the buggy to the beach last Sunday. Was parked just as shown in pic.Had buggy loaded and was about to leave, walked back to trailer to check straps and felt a sting on side of my leg, looked down saw 2 blood spots on my ankle sock, then saw a rattlesnake under my trailer.I don't know if I stepped on it or ambushed me from under the trailer.I believe it was a Timber Rattler.Long story short,3 days in hospital,at home recovering right now. Most of the swelling is gone except for my foot, that's where all the pain is,still cant put weight on it.Most pain i've ever felt in my life,1st 24 hours were bad, morphine didnt help at all. Finally after about 6 hrs they gave me some Dilaudid which took the pain from an 11 down to a 7.
Sorry pilotBird, didnt mean to hijack the thread, looks like good riding,I want to make it out there some day :-)

 HOLYFK
Guess I won't be going riding anywhere around Lytton B.C
That's a place we call the pocket desert around here. It's about hour n half drive from my house and has rattle snakes and sage brush. Hottest place here in B.C in the summer. Over 100'F in summer. I think we have seven different zones in this province from rain forest here on the coast to desert.
