They have been around for a while.
For the price to fun factor you can't beat an oddy.
If you think you can get a Hyabusa for cheap your out of your mind.
I think this thing uses a starter for reverse as well. Not sure how good that is, but thought about using that idea for reverse if I ever build my own buggy.
Also the oddy does 0-60 in a decent time too, and they are fast enough to brake your back :-) .

Here is a you tube video. Start at the two minute mark and it shows the back end. You will notice that this yoyo has NO REVERSE on his unit. Good luck with that.
As sad as a starter is for reverse it is still better than nothing. Most of the time it will be good enough. You don't use reverse much anyways but you still need it.
