I was just thinking what would be cheaper/faster for you. If you took a picture of that adapter I posted and gave it to the machine shop near you and the bolt pattern you want, I bet they could hammer out two of them fast and cheap. I would make it out of 1/2" steel plate.

So far my local shops are not at all interested, they do larger projects/orders. I'll keep looking...
