Went for a ride up the same valley today but didn't make it very far. My brother hit a rock and tore up a rear tire and bent the rim. More FN work.

Bummer, but at least you got to ride today. More riding than I did. Looks like you need to fix the parking brake also.

Fix parking brake ??
If you mean the log we used, well I did that to jack it up so we could turn the wheel.

Machines ran real well. I think I have to recommend a TM38 flat slide carb to all oddy owners. They have never run so well. No sputtering, no lag, idle perfectly without stalling going down hill. I have them jetted with altitude corrected jet size and altitude corrected air screw setting.

Whats the ratio of successful rides you and your brother make where nothing bad happens?
1 out of 10? :-)

I think every one of your ride stories starts like this: "went riding today, but My brother..." :-)

I was referring to the rock placed in front of the tire. I was just giving you a hard time.

LMAO :-)
Yeah our success ratio not that high, but at least the issues are minor now with no hospital trips.
Went out again today with a friend and my oddy died. Hit a washout a bit hard and coil wire came off and Engine died. Found it fairly quickly. Here are some pics from today.
Temperature up last few days and the snow melt happening fast. Lots of run off now.
