As he put it... He went to tear down a big foundry in the big city. He also said he would likely be off the site for a while. |

Baahahahahahahhahahahhahha Well my partner and I worked ourselves out of a job. Our boss told us to take our time and he even said slow down LOL. Apparently it is a cost plus job. Looks like I may have a week off until the enviro group catches up and cleans up any lead and other stuff. Then we can go back. |

Hi CO If you been working in a lead area be really careful. Not good if you exposed , long term effects. Did they do a hazord assessment before you started. I'm hope so.wear your PPE. No reference to the great one. Turbos ppe. Side note, av gas have lead in it? Be safe Richard |

This is not my area of expertise so I do as I am told. They white tape the area and red tape areas that are a no go for us. |

Good to see you're back CO! Sounds like a union job you were working on. Around here the unions do good work but they are in no hurry to get the job done. |

Actually this is a non union job. Not that I really care as I have worked both. I used to be a union shop steward but gave up when one clown wanted to take a round out of me one time. Not my fault he was to stupid to read a contract. On this job its like the united nations. We have two Russian welders, an Argentinian owner/boss, East Indian supervisor (my buddy from another job), a young kid welder, my shift partner Canadian (millwright) and me -- a square head German. The Russians and the Argentinian speak crappy English but good enough. |
