I don't remember seeing this video posted on this site. I watched it for the first time tonight. I wonder how many cars are still out there.
Go Don. :-)

LOL, that was a LONG time ago. I know I sold that car off to someone who had thoughts of racing but never saw it again. That old swing axle car was my first "suspended" car. It was built for desert racing and won the Parker 400. But then I moved to short course racing. I won more stuff with that car than any other including a race in the Rose Bowl in Cali and the Hooserdome in Indy. That Riverside track was the best fun ever. That "land rush" start was crazy. You had to just stand on it and hope there was a good line and space for you at the other end. It was around 100 degrees that day.

My pleasure sir. I love them too and wish I series would start up... If my skills for reading between the lines is any good... Between methodical and mudd there must be an arsenal of bugs worthy.

I posted this on my intro thread a while back, but here is another race. This was a few years later in my first H&R fab car. LA Coliseum. Some great Briggs cars (including Jimmy Johnson) and EEE cars as well. Like Riverside, I loved this track because it was FAST. And the jump into the stadium was way cool.
