What ever happened to member Drakman ??
His postings ended right around the time I became a member.
Just curious as he seemed to post a lot and then disappeared.
I was just scrolling through the projects section and noticed.

Haahahaha yeah that's another story.
They just told us to go home and they would call. Never did lol.
My buddy (the boss) called me yesterday actually and said still no forward movement on that project. He is not sure what's going on. I told him I won't be going back anyway. I think he may tell them to get stuffed too.

I think Drakman may have simply decided to retire. I know i am getting to that stage myself, at 64 none of my machines have seen the light of day in nearly a year. Work is killing me, up at 4.30 and don't get home til well after dark most days.

At least 2 of Drakman's old machines are over here in Australia, one of the "twins" and one of a pair of Tigers that he and his son had. Both have been in my garage at one time or another.

I went down the road toward converting one of my Draks into a bitumen/road race machine like the guys over in the UK do but getting info out of the poms is like pulling teeth so that is on the back burner now as well.

Cheers Guys

Have a great and safe new year everyone.

Ok I understand now.
I thought you were going to make it into some kind of street car that you could race.
Making a street car out of these things would be cool, but I think the local constabulary would be all over your azz.
And mounting a gun on a turret so you could shoot grouse out in the bush from the drivers seat would definitely be a non starter.

Now you have to understand that this is Australia, having fun here is considered illegal, unless it's football or cricket. Guns? what are they, oh you mean the items that i once owned for over 30 years without incident that the government decided i was no longer allowed to own so they "bought" them back. Shame i didn't want to sell them!

Jezus the older i get the grumpier i get.

Hi Ya Wyeeoddy, Happy new year. Maybe grumpy is an age related thing, hmmm perhaps i should apply to the Government for a grant to study "Grumpy old men" I would have to go to where the grumpy old men were, obviously you need your subject matter close at hand to be able to study them. Perhaps Bike Territory would fill that bill? lol
