One of my pilots is missing the rear plastic shock guides, should I worry about damage to the shaft? And has anyone tried 3D printing them? |

You might be able to make a piece of plastic water pipe work. The oddy plastic ones are brittle now and I did break one last year when I was taking a rear shock apart. Fortunately I had spares but at the time I started to think about a replacement. My idea was the plastic water pipe. Have not had to resort to that yet though. |

They look basically the same, the one on the pilot is just used to protect the shock shaft from getting beat up when riding through mud and rocks, ect . And the one on the 350 protects the shock “cylinder” I’m not sure of the right word to use from the spring I assume. |
