One of my pilots is missing the rear plastic shock guides, should I worry about damage to the shaft? And has anyone tried 3D printing them?

You might be able to make a piece of plastic water pipe work.
The oddy plastic ones are brittle now and I did break one last year when I was taking a rear shock apart. Fortunately I had spares but at the time I started to think about a replacement. My idea was the plastic water pipe. Have not had to resort to that yet though.

They look basically the same, the one on the pilot is just used to protect the shock shaft from getting beat up when riding through mud and rocks, ect . And the one on the 350 protects the shock “cylinder” I’m not sure of the right word to use from the spring I assume.
