Why is the buggy going straight and the steering wheel crucked?

I have seen some pictures of this online but didn't know that it was released yet. Pretty sweet ride starting at $14,000

Too bad it's too wide for trails or I'd be more interested

A pilot and an oddy are 60"
Most of us put after market wheels on that have a wider offset. Now your close to that Polaris.

No wrist restraints, hummmmm.
But it does look like it has better side protection than the oddy or pilot.

I watched that youboob video of it and it does look like it slides well for something that is top heavy looking. Just once I wana see a manufacture show their machine hook a wheel and roll over. Then show damage. My brother tipped the oddy over twice in one day by hooking a wheel. Very little damage considering.

Yes they are 60" wide. You should see how my rear steel rims are bent to chit from hitting tree roots. Those aluminum rims would be tacoed where I ride!

Single seat buggy with 100+hp :-)
Available parts and accessories :-)
Resonable width :-)
1300 plus pounds
I'm looking forward to the single seat racing that should be coming. Here is to hoping they allow us to rub wheels with them. 1st or last who cares if we get to run our buggies ( Odysseys, Pilots, Drakart, Briggs, EEEs) on some tracks regularly.
I like where this road could be going that is for sure, other manufactures should be following soon.
At this time though if I was to part with 14.000 it would be for 2 more Pilots with twin sled engines.

I like the way you think Go Oddy!

Lots of comments on IG about a racing class in the works already.

110hp buggy and that’s the roll cage Polaris comes up with for 14k??? It amazes what manufactures get away with when it comes to safety requirements. I’ll stick with my 50hp pilot....

I wonder if sales will do well, if I was interested, I would wait until it had the same powerplant as the XP turbo, I'm sure others are thinking the same.
will CanAm or Yamaha step up to the challenge and come out with their single seat.
I often wonder where the pilot would have evolved to if had not have gone extinct 30 years ago

Yeah, really sad Honda and Yamaha don't keep up. They OWN the Engine/trans world!

It looks like a fun machine that’s for sure! My problem is also with the width, to many limits/restrictions where we ride, and I just wouldn’t be able to ride it much. Honda - grow a pair, get back in the buggy market! In my opinion, the only real buggies are the wildcat (great suspension-but under powered) and the can-am X3. The others are SXS, with a much higher center of gravity, and too weak of a roll cage!

This thing is getting great reviews from people on IG.

Its been raced a few times and doing well.

One of the Anderson brothers won a SXS race with it already.

It would almost be unfair to race this against a SXS. However, If this is already racing in a SXS class could a pilot or odyssey enter that class also?

Found a video of it racing. https://instagram.com/p/BexBU9DBLh1/

Yeah, good question, and one that has been raised already.

It is only slightly lighter than a two seater, so I guess the only advantage is the width?

It beat a lot of turbo cars also.

Not really a good comparison.

But, its still cool!

You'd have to check with the race organizer on your pilot.

A pilot would get stuck on the first obstacle on that course! :-)

Yeah, I really like the looks of this thing too. Id like to lower it about 8" though. We could have some fun in the rocky azz PA hills with a couple of these. :-)

Go for it Bazz!

I think if Honda did the calculations on how many machines like this Polaris and Can-Am sell, they would pinch off a log.
That's a lot of money lost down the toilet.

Polaris released a mini series of RS1 race videos and testimonials on Youtube. No useful information, but it was nice to see it in action.
