Well i knew this day would be here eventually, but last night i sold my favorite / "last" FL350 buggy. A super nice, super stoked gentlemen named Mike bought her. He's looking for some ideas on putting a hinge and latch on the driver side hoop to make it easier to get in from his wheelchair. So if you see a newbie pop up on here, please help him out! =) I took its last ride Tuesday afternoon.

I've still got a full roller setup to run the Rotax 470, but it's farrrrrr from being off the backburner.

Also sold my '88 Suzuki Quadzilla.

Been sucked into the world of compact tractors and hobby cnc machining.

I'll still be around, but prob via Facebook more than anything.

Tractors!?......Tractors?

You mean like the twin turbo, multi Engine, wheel stand tractors? :-)

What type of cnc stuff are you into?

Do you have an Instagram page?

Built a 5x10 cnc plasma that ive been running since July. And just picked up a 3 axis 2hp Bridgeport with a Hardinge 4th axis, and a 15" Clausing Engine lathe. Need to rearrange my shop before i can unpack the mill and lathe.

It’s got to be bitter sweet. Looking forward to the FL470 project and I hope you’ll still make the SS brake lines!?!

I’m not sure how any tractor could be more fun than a FL350 and Quadzilla but I trust that you made the right decision.

That's cool. Are you making money with the plasma?

I use to have a prototrak , super handy to have at home.

Is the BP an EZ-trak or whatever they call it?

The BP has the Acu-Rite MillPwr system on it. I've got a remote controller for it, too. The Hardinge 4th axis can work on its own or it also has a patch cord to the Acu-Rite box (not sure how it all communicates yet). I have to look into it, but I may even upgrade/update the cnc to a modern computer-driven system off Mach3 or Commandcnc.

Definitely made some $$ with the plasma over the holiday season. Wife & I did a few shows and have a bunch of artsy stuff at a local "handmade" shop on consignment. Also made myself a 3-pt 50" box scraper for my tractor, a couple of fixture tables, sprayer mount for my zero-turn, and working on some boxed arched a-arms for my RZR800 now. I want to build a cnc router table this year, too.

The mill and lathe will be wrapped up for a while before I can wire everything up, expand my heated shop area a bit, etc. Got these machines 3-mo before I thought they'd be available, so kinda not ready. Both are 230v 3-phase machines, and the var freq drives to run them off 220v 1ph cost damn near $2k. Despite the 4th axis, I also got an old school dividing head in the deal and a 6" Kurt vice with a base, few collets, etc. Had to pay the neighbor with a T300 Bobcat to unload them for me, lol. It's all on heavy-duty pallets so I can roll around with my pallet jack for now.

Because I am sure everyone tired of my excessive posting, but that's what happens when your unemployed. Also running out of ideas and time to get a real job soon. So I will be just trolling here. Drivers side hoop on a hinge and latch no problem. Easy.
