That's cool. Are you making money with the plasma?
I use to have a prototrak , super handy to have at home.
Is the BP an EZ-trak or whatever they call it?
The BP has the Acu-Rite MillPwr system on it. I've got a remote controller for it, too. The Hardinge 4th axis can work on its own or it also has a patch cord to the Acu-Rite box (not sure how it all communicates yet). I have to look into it, but I may even upgrade/update the cnc to a modern computer-driven system off Mach3 or Commandcnc.
Definitely made some $$ with the plasma over the holiday season. Wife & I did a few shows and have a bunch of artsy stuff at a local "handmade" shop on consignment. Also made myself a 3-pt 50" box scraper for my tractor, a couple of fixture tables, sprayer mount for my zero-turn, and working on some boxed arched a-arms for my RZR800 now. I want to build a cnc router table this year, too.
The mill and lathe will be wrapped up for a while before I can wire everything up, expand my heated shop area a bit, etc. Got these machines 3-mo before I thought they'd be available, so kinda not ready. Both are 230v 3-phase machines, and the var freq drives to run them off 220v 1ph cost damn near $2k. Despite the 4th axis, I also got an old school dividing head in the deal and a 6" Kurt vice with a base, few collets, etc. Had to pay the neighbor with a T300 Bobcat to unload them for me, lol. It's all on heavy-duty pallets so I can roll around with my pallet jack for now.
