Made this yesterday for my brother.
Can't take it out yet as we got 6" of snow last night. Damn because all the snow was melted here.
Mild steel plate --------- yes I know what your thinking, it's not AR500 so you may get bullet fragments coming back at you. 1) Don't stand that close -- 10yrd min distance 2) Tree is angled 10' and is adjustable.

I like it! Does it spin when you hit it? Looking at the pics on the phone so details are lost.

Yes each target spins to the other side when hit.

We took it out about 3 hrs ago.
The tokerev didn't have enough power so we stood it up straighter and it worked fine.
The Highpower with 9mm rounds has plenty of hit.
Oddly enough the 1/2" mild steel plate is good enough. Almost no damage to plates.
Shooting out at 15 yrds approx.

Learned a few of its short comings and will adjust.

Some pics.
The targets look dramatic but no damage. Some of the very small ridges you can feel with your finger are actually the lead built up making a bump. Some very small divets but so small you can't really measure unless you had a dial caliper. It would be in the thous.
Also of note is the tremendous amount of splash in the up right angle iron.
We didn't shoot many rounds because it is real cold here today and the tokerev was jamming every round.
The tok is full metal jacket and the 9mm is not full metal jacket.
