This is what happened in Canada.
Previous Liberal govt had a gun registry.
When Conservatives came to power they kill the registry.
The province (state to some of you) of Quebec wanted the info files for their province but Conservatives said "NO".
It went to court and Quebec lost. So they created their own registry.

When we still had the registry here, everyone I know only registered two guns. Their deer gun OR shotgun and a .22 for plinking out in the bush. The rest were hidden. That's a fact. Only an idiot would hand in their guns and ammo. Anyone who thinks Canadians are unarmed is a fool.

Lets look at some of the stuff in that article.
1) Here we have a previous convicted criminal out on parole with an ankle bracelet. This is a life long criminal most likely. Therefore this crime was not committed by average joe who just wants to go Roo hunting.
2) Guns have been banned in Aussie but then how did he get a ban pump action shotgun ??
That's right -- criminals don't hand in guns and will ALWAYS be armed, unlike the average joe dummy who hands in his gun when the terrorist state asks for it.
3) Notice the phoney numbering system: "Mass shootings are usually defined as those resulting in at least four deaths excluding the shooter". This phoney "4" killed but NOT the shooter is a way of keeping the mass killing numbers down. If they added this goof to the list there would be many more "mass" shootings down there but that would look bad in the statistics.

I'm German and my dad was in the Hitler youth when he was a kid during the war.
My grandfather was the guy on the motorcycle that took orders from head quarters to the Panzer commander. My other grandpa was the guy that worked on and run "Big Bertha", that huge railway mounted gun. He was also in France and when captured was tortured by the French. They smashed every single tooth out of his face with a rifle butt. Then he was forced to work in the perfume fields collecting flowers until they passed out in the summer heat. Grandma was never allowed to wear perfume.
As a German I know for a fact that 6 million Jews would not have been murdered in WW2 if they had guns. During the Warsaw ghetto uprising a handful of Jews held off an entire division for weeks with the few weapons they had at hand and managed to capture.
