I'am planning on taking my pilots up to silver lake around Memorial Day, I am trying to make sure my machines are ready to go. I have only had them in the sand once before and actually had an Engine blow up because it sucked in sand. I am hoping to not have that happen again. what are some suggestions people might have on getting them ready. I was also curious as to what type of outerwear people put on their air filters.

I maintain an oiled foam uni filter inside the airbox, then some pvc pipe extending the box to a huge K&n filter run dry. Then the K&n has a net style pre-screen filter over it.

The K&n and prefilter covering get dirty but are very easy to clean. The uni has not gotten dirty at all in quite a bunch of rides. Double insurance but the K&n is so huge it’s not a restriction

Any suggestion for a stock filter?
