Turbo, sweet auto trans, launch control, big fox shocks, 32" tires, Honda reliability!

These things are getting better.

The engineer they interviewed said this is what the Pilot was supposed to be.

A real off road buggy for real men.

Looks very nice but also quite top heavy.
A lot of money for the backyard, but if you’re a plug and play “real man” it’s the way to go.

Man you're really juicing this up to get a reaction :-) .

Ok I'll bite.
ALL 4 seaters are junk.
One of the homo's in those clips said: "the long wheel base will make it a smooth ride".
Well stupid if you want a smooth ride hire a fat one.
We all ride off road -- "Smooth" is not in the program dummy. If it don't break your back it's good enough.
The long wheel base will make it turn like a semi. That don't work well in the bush.
The long wheel base in my opinion makes the frame weak in a huge crash. Also there seems to be limited protection in a roll over. It looks very fragile if it gets into a real wreck. Now add the law suits.
I can only see these being an option for someone with a family but I bet for the price of that thing you could buy each member of your family their own oddy or pilot. It's the cost to fun factor equation.
When is Honda (or anyone else) going to come out with a real single seater low profile racer like the oddy or pilot ??
CO

lol! That's the only way I can get these honda bums to respond, by threatening the mighty Pilot! lol!

I agree with the above.

But, I'd love to have the two seater turbo, lowered down to about 8" off the ground with some nice, short course tires!

Done laughing.
Yes a longer will base will smooth thing out in the rough starights. Longer wheel base.
Yes longer wheel base increases turning radius.
While we're working on our engines, trans and replacing belts. There putting gas in them and driving around. There giving todays market what it wants. No work and immediate gratification.
Every one I know that had odys/pilots wants better suspension travel and more power. Look at most that put in bigger power plants into there odys/pilots. Most have better suspension and run into some sort of structural issue. Not saying it's s bad idea just saying it's not a new factory engineered machine. The unit is more user friendly for the average Joe. Or what we refer to as gas and go.

Honda is just late yo the party. It's a calculated move on there part.
Yes most of us like the feel or feed back we get from our machines as well as the satafaction of the hands on experience. We can not teach this to those who don't want to invest the time it takes to learn. For those who do, thank to "H" we have pilotodyssey.com. and those in the community.
I feel we have a place here for the talon once we can accept change. The sooner we do the more it can offer to the community. I already see some adaptability to the pilots. Yes, I've been doing my research. So stay tuned. My pilot is still moth balled. It my just stay around.

I know in the day if I could have had a four seater for my family I would have had both. Honda that is. No buggy
