A friend of mine works for a estate sale company , the weekend before Christmas my friend was working a estate sale at an old farm he called me when it was almost over and told me to come there that there was something I might like so I went . There was an 2009 max IV that nobody made am offer on they were asking 3500 for it and there were tracks for it that they wanted 400 dollers for . I new my wife would kill me if I spent almost four thousand righ before Christmas so I made an offer of 1700 with the tracks included.i thought they would maybe come down 5 hundred that way I could say I tried but they said yes to the 1700 for that price I didn't care if my wife was mad at me plus I figure I would say it is a present for my kids. I saw an older model at a ATV park this past summer and it looked like a lot of fun plus the guy driving it was going threw mud pits that all the ATV's were getting stuck but he went threw with no problem then I watched him drive right into the lake at the park he had 2 other people in it with him . Iv seen these machines sinces I was a kid but I never thought I get one . Me and my one son took it out this past weekend with out the tracks on it . There not fast I think the top speed we got it up to was about 28mph but in the woods we never go to fast with are ATV's they do turn on a dime and I was going through mud pits that my Polaris Ace 570 would have needed to get pulled out of and that's without the tracks on . I don't know much about these machines does anybody here have a max or an Argo 6x6 or 8x8 by what Iv been reading there's not to much maintenance just oil and grease them but if anybody knows more about them please let me know . Iam looking for a shop manual for it to . My wife told me my sons were taking it out this weekend my face dropped then she said didn't I buy it for are kids , the real answer is no I bought it for me but if I say that she will kill me so I just smiled and said that's fine . I don't know why women don't understand guys really never grow up and they will always want toys to play with .

Here is a good site: https://www.max6x6.com/Max-Atv-Parts_c_162.html
Below are some pdf files on it.
On the web site above they have a download page. It's all free. There is a wiring diagram for each model there as well for free download.
I think you stole it you thief :-) . Just let her bitch.

C.O thanks for the information . By looking at the parts manual it doesn't seem like they have changed to much over the years . There's really no sespension on them it's a rough ride but a blast , it's like your driving a tank . I can't wait to put the tracks on it to see what kind of trouble I can get into .

Yup, you stole it. Seen some at the South Florida Fair, they were like 12.5 new. The big ones were like 20 grand.
