I pulled the Engine out of my Pilot many years ago. Has some scuffing in the cylinder and a bad clutch side crank seal, though it did have 135-140 psi and ran well besides the decel lean condition.

Life happens sometimes, and sometimes it's in a big way. Things finally smoothed out financially a couple years ago but I ended up getting back into motorcycles and developed a bad addiction to the Buell brand. There's 9 here now, unbelievably I even sold one of my Honda's to gain some space, criminal ! I've been on a bad run of not finishing projects and buying more. Was just about to make a trade for one of my bikes and a grand for a nice TRX250R. But that got me thinking, why do that when I can get the Pilot back together??

Originally I was going to send it off to be Hoserized, then I was considering a FARR conversion, then it got pushed aside due to those life changing events. but now I'm back to wanting to keep the original Honda power plant. I can have a local guy do the boring for me. I've had a new pipe and clutch for it forever. I'm curious if anyone is still around that knows these engines and can work it over for a little more power.

Thanks in advance, Steve
