I have watched several dyno tests gone bad on youboob lately.
And this is the reason NO ONE should be in a dyno room.
https://hoodsite.com/car-mechanic-dies- ... -accident/

I didn't see this video until recently and only found it by surfing the net.
It scares the hell out of me actually thinking about what could have happened to my brother or me when our dyno blew the oddy clutch. Don't think my helmet would have helped much if that clutch piece from the oddy hit me or my brother in the head. I was thinking safety at the time but perhaps my judgement was off a bit. Off hand I don't really know right now how I could have done it better though with what I had.

Wow that made me queasy.

All that force to blow the flywheel out of the bell housing, through the fenders, and whatever else it passed through....unbelievable.

Actually if you look close at that video you can see that the flywheel piece hit the ground under the car and bounced up to hit the guy in the head.
Also look at that flywheel piece. You can clearly see it has been fractured for a long time because you can see the rust on the cracked piece (outer edge).
