I just seen on the net that Trump signed an order to reactivate former military troops.
Since I am not an American my question is: "If you're reactivated and you get injured/sick, does the military down there cover you if you lose your job or are injured/sick and can't ever return to work ??".
The reason I ask is because Canadian troops have been screwed over for many years by our govt.
In fact for the last many years the military has not spent the amount of money allocated to it. Billions of dollars in fact. Injured members here are frequently on TV about getting screwed on benefits. It doesn't seem to matter who is elected here either. All the parties do it to some extent. Of coarse they never seem to miss out on an opportunity to add to their own swollen govt pensions and perks.
Anyone who is serving in the Canadian military is a sucker and a fool. Why are you guys fighting and dying for Indian land ?? Just ask them or our govt and they'll tell ya.
