Baahahahaha ------ yeah I know exactly how that happens.
You probably have a high engagement and are running a white spring or similar in the primary clutch.
That's exactly what happened to me when I tried to run a white spring and light homemade pucks.
My
Engine would spin up high and then BOOOOOM the clutch locked in and off I go. I thought it was really cool. Launches were awesome. Driveability not so much, especially on some of the mountain areas we ride in.
What happens is the sudden engagement ovals out the bell and rounds the shaft. This stuff is not made out of hardened steel but actually some kind of mild steel pig iron. Think maximum profit model of business here. Stuff is not made to last it's made to sell.
