I am programming stupid I gave this a watch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rfscVS0vtbw it does look pretty easy but I have 0 programming experience

I put together a Raspberry Pi 4 2GB ram https://www.raspberrypi.org/products/ra ... 4-model-b/ with a GPS dongle want to use it to record GPS data (tracks) in my RZR-S plan on adding front and rear video recording too, and if it all works out add GEO tagging the videos since I can never remember to name and organize the videos after a ride...

Currently I have the Pi4 running and collecting data using a old Microsoft Streets and Trips GPS dongle I used on a laptop years ago, just getting raw data, I am currently searching for Python files that will parse the GPS data into a format that can be loaded in Google Earth GPX, KML or KMZ has to be something in all these Packages? https://pypi.org/ the search continues https://pypi.org/search/?q=GPS+logging&o= https://pypi.org/search/?q=GPS+waypoint&o= https://pypi.org/search/?q=GPS+tracks&o=

If the whole setup works out will build one for the RV be nice to have a camera on the back of the trailer , the Pi4 makes a great desktop for the RV.

Will any of your VBA, Cobal, C+, Autolisp, Visualisp, some Fortran skills work on something like this, I am completely programming stupid lol

Thanks

no help on programming but for the cameras maybe not to replace the front and rear, you can pickup a samsung gear 360 prety cheap you just want to make sure your smart phone is compatible with it.

No idea, I will look at this in more detail next week. I have never even tried to play around like this with our GPS.
