Yeah but the funny part is that I have not been working since Oct 2019 because I don't work winters anymore and always quit when the weather starts to get nasty. Then Wuhan China virus hit. So I didn't go back to work. NOBODY in govt offered me any financial help because I quit my job. Therefore no UIC or CERB.
Universal basic income has been punted around a lot lately here in Canada.
I don't think it will happen though. There was actually an experiment in the 80's in Manitoba (I believe) regarding universal basic income but the results we non conclusive because it was stopped. I think recently in Ontario they did the same thing but it too was stopped short of a full run for data.
Our PM is a full blown communist. His dad was actually a card carrying member and that's why he was so friendly with Castro back in the day. The punk kid is spending like a drunken sailor because he currently has a minority govt and he needs a majority to push through his agenda's. Of course the stupid voters will vote him in because he gave them all "FREE" money. What the PM is doing is basically destroying all the wealthy peoples savings through the obvious inflation that is just around the corner. Our dollar is currently worth 76 cents American. Just wait stupid people, you dummies now hold nazi Reichsmarks. LOL.
The 300 grand I currently have in my bank acct is worth nothing. That's why I'm not working anymore. I'm going to try to spend it on buggies and doing nothing.
Americans just had an election. What you guys don't know is that in Canada, two provinces decide who will run this show. If everyone in Canada voted for party C but Ontario and Quebec vote for party L, then party L will run the country. They have the whole country out voted. Imagine if California and Florida are the only two states who decide who the President will be . Bet you guys would love that.
